Ow what an amazing roadtrip!
14 days in total. Our trip started at home, Holland. We drove trough Germany and Denmark to our first stop, Malmö in Sweden. After a goodnight sleep we continued our way to Norway.

After paying some toll, we arrived in Norway, were it all got really started! The second day we arrived at Gol, Norway. A small town, mostly known as a ski area in winter time. We spend 2 nights there, so our car could get a rest and we could easily explore the area.

This was our route from day to day.

  • Malmö (Sweden)
  • Gol (Norway)
  • Bergen (Norway)
  • Sogndal (Norway)
  • Loen (Norway)
  • Ålesund (Norway)
  • Dombås (Norway)
  • Lillehammer (Norway)
  • Oslo (Norway)
  • Roskilde (Denmark)

Then we’re heading for the most beautiful part of Norway, the rough coast and her breathtaking fjords. We visited Bergen first. A bit of a touristic city, but when look trough that, it’s very much worth visiting.

The day after we added our first real kilometers between rough coast and stunning fjords, it led us to the most magical place on our trip, Sogndal. A small town located directly at the Sognefjord.

More beautiful fjord roads brought us in Loen and Ålesund. After that our trip continued more inland to Dombås and the Dovrefjell national park. Where we did a hike to have a good look at the Snøhetta mountain and at a distance we even spotted some musk ox!
The next morning we visited the olympic town and famous Netflix-series hometown Lillehammer 🙂

And of course we couldn’t skip Oslo!
